Taxes & Duties Policy
Effective Date: April 8, 2025
Thank you for shopping with us! We ship worldwide and strive to make your checkout experience as transparent as possible. Below is our policy regarding taxes, import duties, and customs fees for international orders.
1. Are Taxes Included in the Product Price?
Product prices displayed on our website do not include international taxes, customs duties, or import fees unless otherwise stated.
In most cases, these charges are determined by your local customs authority and will be collected at the time of delivery or billed later by your carrier.
2. Who Pays for Taxes and Duties?
- For most destinations, the customer is responsible for any applicable import duties, VAT/GST, and customs processing fees.
- These charges vary by country and are not controlled or charged by us.
3. Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) vs Delivered At Place (DAP)
We offer two types of international shipping:
Delivered Duty Paid (DDP)
For selected countries (e.g. United States, European Union, United Kingdom), we offer DDP shipping. This means:
- All taxes and duties are prepaid at checkout
- Your package will arrive without any additional charges
- No customs delays or surprise fees
Delivered At Place (DAP)
For other countries, we ship under DAP terms. This means:
- You will be contacted by your local customs office or courier
- You must pay any applicable duties or taxes before delivery
- Failure to pay may result in your package being returned or held
4. How Can I Estimate Import Taxes?
Every country has its own rules. To get an estimate:
- Check with your local customs office
- Use online customs duty calculators for guidance
- Keep in mind, duties may depend on product category, declared value, and shipping origin
5. What Happens If I Refuse to Pay?
If you refuse to pay import duties and the package is returned to us:
- We will refund your order minus the original shipping fee and any return or handling charges
- If the item is lost or abandoned, we may not be able to issue a refund
